Need job-seeking skills? Participate in employment preparation! You and the Expandability Staff will devise a personal vocational plan to gain skills and improve job readiness. Services are provided one-on-one and in group settings. These include:
Placement services will be provided to all job-ready clients to identify employers and find jobs
well-matched to employment goals. Part and full-time positions will be sought based on interests,
stamina, abilities, accommodation needs, transportation options, and job availability.
On-the-job training will be provided as needed, gradually fading in intensity, with additional services to include monthly progress reports and comprehensive semi-annual and annual reviews of job performance, job satisfaction, and other job-related issues.
You will be provided with ongoing support to retain your job for a minimum of 90 days. The
Expandability Staff will work with you and your employer (if necessary) to proactively ensure
that there are no perceived or real issues that threaten the success of your job placement.
Expandability will also provide quarterly follow-ups in the year following your job placement.
